Quick Start Guide

Get up and running with Prism Wallet

Follow this guide to set up Prism Wallet and start managing your finances.

Step 1: Create Your Account

  1. Open the app and tap Get Started
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Enter your full name
  4. Enter your date of birth
  5. Create a secure password
  6. Check your email for a verification code and enter it in the app

Step 2: Personalize Your Experience

Choose Your Currency

Select the currency you'd like amounts displayed in throughout the app.

Enable Notifications

Choose whether to receive push notifications for transactions, budget alerts, bill reminders, and more. You can customize these later in Settings.

Set Up Your Budgets

You have two options:

  • Manual: Choose categories and set your own budget amounts
  • AI-Recommended: Enter your income and the app will suggest budget amounts based on recommended spending ratios

Connect Your First Account

Link a bank account to start tracking transactions automatically. See our Connecting Accounts guide for details.

Step 3: Choose a Plan

Select a subscription plan (monthly or annual) to access all features. You can also activate Demo Mode to explore the app with sample data before committing.

Step 4: Explore the App

Bottom Navigation

The app has five main tabs:

  • Dashboard - Financial overview with customizable widgets
  • Accounts - View and manage connected accounts and assets
  • Transactions - Browse and manage your transaction history
  • Recurring - Track subscriptions and bills
  • Budgets - Monitor spending against your budgets

Side Menu

Access additional features from the drawer menu (tap the menu icon):

  • Profile settings
  • Notification preferences
  • Security settings
  • Currency settings
  • Help & Support

Step 5: Set Up Security

For quick and secure access:

  1. Go to Settings > Security
  2. Enable Biometric Authentication
  3. Confirm with Face ID or Touch ID

Tips for New Users

  • Start with one account and add more as you get comfortable
  • Review transactions weekly and correct any miscategorized items
  • Set up budget alerts so you're notified before overspending
  • Add the dashboard widgets that matter most to you
  • Enable bill reminders so you never miss a payment
