Share finances with family members

Prism Wallet lets you create a household to share financial data with family members, collaborate on budgets, and manage finances together.

Creating a Household

1. Open the side menu
2. Go to Household settings
3. Tap Create Household
4. Enter a name for your household
5. You're set as the Owner

Inviting Members

1. Go to your Household settings
2. Tap Invite Member
3. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite
4. They'll receive an invitation

The person you invite must have a Prism Wallet account with that email address.

Accepting an Invitation

If someone invites you to their household:

1. You'll see a notification or find the invitation in Household > Pending Invitations
2. Tap the invitation
3. Choose Accept or Decline

Member Roles

• Owner: Full control over the household, can invite and remove members, manage all settings
• Member: Can view shared accounts and budgets based on permissions set by the owner

Sharing Accounts

Choose which of your connected accounts are visible to household members:

1. Go to Household settings
2. Tap Share Accounts
3. Toggle which accounts to share
4. Household members can then see transactions and balances from those shared accounts

Shared Budgets

Create budgets that track spending across all household members:

1. Go to the Budgets tab
2. Create a new budget
3. Make it a shared budget
4. The budget tracks spending from shared accounts across all household members

Switch between personal and shared budgets using the filter on the Budgets tab.

Managing Members

As the household owner, you can:

• View all members and their roles
• Remove members from the household
• Manage sharing permissions

Leaving a Household

If you're a member (not the owner):

1. Go to Household settings
2. Tap Leave Household
3. Confirm your decision

Your shared data will no longer be visible to other household members.
