Exporting Your Data
Download your financial data from Prism Wallet
Prism Wallet lets you export your transaction data for tax preparation, record keeping, or personal analysis.
How to Export
- Go to Settings > Export Data
- Choose your export format
- Configure your export options
- Tap Export
- Share or save the generated file
Export Formats
CSV (Comma-Separated Values)
Standard spreadsheet format compatible with Excel, Google Sheets, and most financial software. Best for general record keeping and analysis.
TXF (Tax Exchange Format)
Format designed for tax preparation software like TurboTax. Useful for organizing transactions for tax filing.
Export Options
Date Range
Choose from preset ranges or set a custom period:
- Last 7 days
- Last 30 days
- Last 3 months
- Last year
- Year to date
- Custom date range
Filtering
Narrow your export to specific data:
- By Category: Export only certain spending categories
- By Account: Export from specific accounts only
Export Fields
Customize which data columns to include:
- Amount
- Description/Merchant
- Category
- Account
- Date & Time
Using Exported Data
Tax Preparation
- Export in TXF format for direct import into tax software
- Or use CSV and manually reference transactions for deductions
Spreadsheet Analysis
- Open CSV in Excel or Google Sheets
- Create custom charts and analysis
- Track patterns beyond what the app provides
Record Keeping
- Keep periodic exports as backup records
- Share with an accountant or financial advisor

- Export regularly (monthly or quarterly) for good record keeping
- Use category filtering to isolate business expenses from personal
- TXF format saves time during tax season by working directly with tax software
